14 Cram galvanized - various lengths

The staples of type 14 are characterized by a width of 10.6 mm and the many available lengths. Due to the wire dimensions of 1.40 by 1.60 mm, you cannot use these staples for a large number of fastenings. If you want to fasten something and you do not know which staple length you need, for most materials you can follow the rule of thumb that the staple should be 2 ½ times the thickness of the material. In practice, this means that if you have a wooden board that is 18 mm thick, you must have a minimum staple length of 2 ½ x 18, which is 45 mm long.
